       CHAPTER-1:1:5 (NEW IMMIGRANTS)-SUMMER-DAY-5

Eli and Ami Jankowsky both got up very early that morning and got themselves ready for the coming day by showering and eating breakfast before they would get to work in the garden area. They ended up working very hard in the garden for most of the day and didn't quit in the garden until the work was done by early evening.
They were done with the work by 7PM and went to the grocery store at the shopping plaza to sell their produce for cash and they earned about 750$ in cash from the store that day. They also had to get back to their own lot and get things cleaned up first.
Eli and Ami had been making plans to get their house built and to start working at part time jobs to save up until it was time to start their family after they'd been settled in for a few years. This was their plans and they were also planning on having a pet while they were working since pets wouldn't need babysitters.
This was what they planned on and they both hoped winter would be dry for a while and get snowy later in the season. The weather they'd been having so far was very hot and dry without rain being a threat every night. That was the last thing they needed to have.
Eli got home a little behind Ami who was already asleep in his sleeping bag when she arrived from the store after selling her produce and earning the cash. She could still remember the time they were threatened with having to get married to total strangers until they decided to leave and immigrate to a new country and start new lives as settlers in a town called Winfield.
Ami was also grateful they got to start their married lives in a new town as settlers and they were planning to have a farm for their home.He was also planning on the farming lifestyle being what their future would hold.
The Jankowskys were both hoping that the town of Winfield would one day get more new settlers arriving to start new lives there so they'd have neighbors to make friends with and have other children for their children to be friends with.It looked like there would be a lot of room for the town to grow and for it to mature into a real community over the generations.
