               CHAPTER-1:1:4 (NEW IMMIGRANTS)-SUMMER-DAY-4

Eli and Ami Jankowsky both got up just before dawn that morning and started using the washrooms and getting themselves ready for the new day.It was already the fourth day of summer and the fourth day of their lives in their new hometown. They were both wanting to get their new lives going and get themselves ready to start their family after saving enough money up to be able to afford it.
This was going to be very different from what they might've been facing if they'd stayed in the old country and just accepted what was going to happen to them.Eli ended up not feeling that she could just accept being forced to marry a stranger.
Eli had worked very hard on studying and learning new skills doe most of the day while Ami was working in the garden harvesting produce to sell at the grocery store later on.The day raced by so fast it was evening and the sun was down before they knew it.It had been a very uneventful day and they were hoping to earn more money from gardening.
They both saw the uneventful day as a nice change from exciting days full of little adventures when they wanted to have different kinds of days.Eli was having fun watching the gardening channel on T.V. while Ami decided to go to the store to sell the produce he'd harvested earlier.
Ami had to leave for the store on his bike ans Eli did end up watching the gardening channel on T.V while Ami was off to the grocery store to sell the produce he'd harvested earlier. It was 7:30 in the evening when he left for the store and he got back by 8PM.Eli did end up going to bed at 8PM and Ami wasn't going to be too far behind in getting to bed though it would be later when he finally made it into bed.
That would happen because he had to use the washroom after returning from the grocery store with the cash from the sale of the produce. They were also wanting the house built soon.
Eli was grateful they had the option to sleep in Garden House even if their own house wasn't built yet and they'd be waiting some time before it did finally get built. They both felt that life would've been harder if they hadn't live right near Garden House and been so easily able to take advantage of it.
