               CHAPTER-1:1:22 (NEW IMMIGRANTS)-DAY-22         

    Eli and Ami Jankowsky were both up early that morning and ready for the day quite early because it was the day their adopted foal was to arrive.They both decided to eat the leftover key lime pie though nobody noticed it had gone bad.They also got their house cleaned up and made the beds.

     It had started to rain while they waited for the social worker to arrive with their adopted foal named Racer.That ended any chance of them taking any full-time jobs though they decided before then to not bother with full-time work since it left no time for anything else and not time for a life.

    Eli and Ami both spent time getting to know Racer and making friends with him because they wanted him to have a good life with them and it was best to start while he was still very young.They both knew they'd have work the next day though it was only part-time because they wanted to have a pet or child.

    They both spent time harvesting some produce at Garden House and had to sell it at the grocery store though it finally stopped raining and began to clear up.They both ended up eating more of the leftover pie even though they both knew it was spoiled and they really could waste food.

    They managed to keep busy with things like feeding Racer and getting ready for bed at 7PM when it got dark outside.
