     The residents of Winfield had all managed to survive another winter in the midwest and it had luckily been a brown winter without any snow though it had gotten cold enough for snow.It had actually been too dry for snow and everybody had been grateful for that since it meant supplies got through a little easier.
    It was common knowledge that winters could be very hard and something you had to deal with every year.That was a part of being a pioneer settler heading out west to search for some land to own and a chance at a better life for those immigrating from Europe.

    Eli and Ami Jankowsky had been keeping themselves very busy during those cool days of early spring when they couldn't harvest much and it was still too cold to be able to spend much time outside.They were riding Racer as often as they could and he was practicing jumps and racing to get better at those things.The weather did warm up after those first few days of spring and it got easier.They also started to see the ice cream wagon around again.

    Lee King was busy having fun with Spot and also planning to expand her garden a little over the spring.It still got frosty overnight though that thawed out in the mornings.They were both doing very well and Lee had been happier since moving to Winfield where she could grow gardens and enjoy fishing at the local pond or at the town pool where they had it stocked well with fish for the local residents.She was planning to add to her house soon.

    It was getting into mid spring when the residents were starting to find the leftovers they were trying to eat up had begun to go bad and some got so spoiled they had flies swarming around them.This happened to the Ivanovitch family and they both decided to eat the worst food up first though it already got flies around it and it was very bad.They just wanted to get the leftovers eaten because they would be able to cook new meals once they got some harvests in.

    Tanner Ivanovitch had decided to start building a new section on their house to expand it so they would have more room in the house.They both knew they'd need a bigger house when they started to have a baby in the next few years.Tracy was starting to think about babies and Tanner wanted to get the house ready for when the day came that their first baby was on it's way to becoming a part of their lives.It was already time to start preparing for a baby.

     The residents of the town all had crops starting to get ready for the early harvest which meant they were about to get to cook new meals very soon.The Campbells were still just getting settled into town and they were trying to save money up for getting new furniture for Sandi who would turn three later on in the year.That would mean having to get new furniture for her since she'd no longer be a toddler and would be starting to attend the school of the streets.

     The Campbell family had been trying to get settled into town and they also were wanting to get Sandi walking before too long since she was so close to turning three and becoming a child.Ashley took her to the local library near their house to start her learning to walk using a walker at the library.It would be a lot faster than trying to teach her himself which took a long time and was best if started with a younger toddler who had more time before aging up.

    Tracy Ivanovitch started playing with Katy on one of the last days of spring in Winfield while Tanner was working on their garden.Katy wasn't going to be a cute little kitten for a whole lot longer and they wanted to enjoy those kitten days with her while they had the chance.Tanner was also getting to play with Katy by making the time for that after chores were done while Tracy studied skills before she did a little studying until it was time for work.

    Tanner and Tracy were often both having to work on that garden together to get it done early enough to have time for other things before having to get ready for work and they still wanted to have time to enjoy Katy.It was late spring and the weather was hot during the day though it got cooler at night.The new addition on their house had been finished a few days earlier and they were starting to get the new area furnished slowly as they earned the money.

     Ashley ended up going fishing and left Sandi home because Des had no work that day.She went to use the washroom before feeding Sandi and the toilet broke which delayed her and cause Sandi to get into the pet food.Des knew it was just bad luck that she took too long in the washroom because she had to fix the toilet before she could use it and take a shower.Ashley got home later and they ended up getting ready for the evening.

    There was a full moon that night and it was the last day of spring before summer arrived.It had been a hot day and the night ended up being very warm though it was the full moon.It was time for Sandi to get taken to bed for the night.They were also planning on adding a bedroom to their house so they would have a room for Sandi and still have one for themselves.It had to get started very soon because Sandi's birthday was sometime in the coming fall.
    Spring had come and gone so quickly that it was hard to believe that the town was entering another summer with the usual hot sunny weather.They'd recovered from winter over the spring and a few families were starting to build additions on their houses if they didn't already have that started.They were also gettting ready for the summer weather by dressing in lighter and cooler clothing.They also saw the food wagon vanish for the season as summer got closer.
