     CHAPTER-1:1:11 (NEW IMMIGRANTS)-SUMMER-DAY-11   

    Eli and Ami Jankowsky both overslept that morning and ended up having to play chess together for a while before starting work in the garden area. They were both anxious to get their house built before fall set in and it started getting cold out at night on them.

    Ami decided to go dumpster diving while Eli was working in the garden to see if he could find some furniture for when their house was built.They worked very hard until it was very late in the afternoon and close to 5PM dinnertime.They had to stop to have showers before eating.

    They both got showered up and Ami decided to watch the cooking channel while Eli would be going to the grocery store to sell the produce they harvested for the day.He managed to gain a cooking skill point with watching T.V. and decided to switch to playing chess on his computer.

    It was 7PM when he went over to check on their lot and get things cleaned up there while Eli was at the store.He also decided to get another section of the wall up on their new house before Eli got home.It was 7:30 when Ami got the lot cleaned up and got the new wall built.

    The new wall meant the house was closer to being finished and ready for them to move into.The house was half way done and that was better than it not even being started or living in a tiny starter home that you couldn't even move out of to start the family and it's too small.

    Eli got home from the store at 8:30 to find Ami already asleep in his sleeping bag and was about to join him in her sleeping bag.She was also very tired and wanted to get to sleep.
